What time do you awake? اپ کتنے بجے اٹھتے ہیں؟
What is the time by your watch ? تمہاری گھڑی پر کتنے بجے ہیں ؟
It is quarter past three. اب سوا تین بجے ہیں
It is quarter to four by my watch. میری گھڑی پر پونے چار بجے ہیں
It is five past eight.  آٹھ بج کر پانچ منٹ ہو گئے
It is five to eitgh. ابھی آٹھ بجنے میں پانچ منٹ رہتے ہیں
This watch does not keep right time. یہ گھڑی ٹھیک وقت نہیں دیتی 
HE is winding the watch. وو گھڑی کو چابی دے رہا ہے
Yhis watch is correct to seconds. اس گھڑی میں ایک سیکنڈ  کا بھی فرق نہیں
I have compared it with trhe tower clock. میں نے اسے گھنٹہ گھر سے ملایا  ہے
Your watch loses ten minutes a day. تمہاری گھڑی ہر روز دس منٹ پیچھے رہ جاتی ہے
My watch stopped yesterday. میری گھڑی کل بند ہو گئی تھی
Your watch gains ten mints a day. تمہاری گھڑی ہر روز دس منٹ آگے جاتی ہے
We set the alarm at four. ہم نے چار بجے کا الارم لگا دیا
Sometimes it is too slow, and sometime it is too fast. کبھی یہ آگے نکل جاتی ہے کبھی یہ پیچھے رہ جاتی ہے
The watch has gone out of order.        یہ گھڑی بگڑ گئی ہے
